Slot missions are an excellent way to earn gear weapons, equipment and other items. However, they can be difficult to do.

Concealed Weapon Slot

Gear Slot

In the beginning of the game, players will notice that their gear slots become full, resulting in the dreaded "Your Gear Slots are full" message, which blocks Max from picking new equipment until the old items are removed or space is found. The solution to this problem is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which give players more inventory space in exchange for fulfilling challenge missions. Because many of these challenges can be missed and are scattered around the globe, it could take a while to reach the maximum number inventory slots available in the game.

Five Gear Slots can be filled with up to five different gear types, which must be selected in the Gear Selection menu before a break-in begins. Each gear item (except for the Pistol) is a part of one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as Grenades in a grouping) only uses one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you advance through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock different agency pickups on the map. These locations let you store an item that does not fit in your slot for weapons or gear and retrieve them later.

These pickups are especially useful when you have to go through a frisk later in the game, or if you are carrying a weapon that would otherwise cause suspicion. You are only able to hide only one item at a pick-up location.

This DLC adds new contracts for security and asset protection to the agency. To start these missions, simply talk to the receptionist at the agency and purchase armor and snacks. Once you have reached the mission marker, identify a mob at the time you arrive.
